Manchester United Return For Starman As Striker Aims Premier League Comeback

New report emanated recently that sensational striker who had once made a mark in Man Utd, Tottenham and Fulhum-Dimitar Berbatov, desires to play in the Premier League again.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker wants a Premier League comeback, and he is hoping a return to Manchester United can help him achieve his aim.

The Bulgaria international played for the red devils between 2008 and 2012, but is presently a free agent after leaving Greek club PAOK in the summer.

However, he is reportedly interested to return to the English top flight – where he also played for Tottenham and Fulham – and is not ready to quit football despite the fact he will turn 36 in January.

Berbatov, according to a Bulgarian news outlet Sportal, will visit Carrington next week to train with Jose Mourinho ‘s squad for a few days in a bid to prepare himself for any potential Premier League interest.

“When you’ve played in the Premier League you don’t want to play anywhere else,” Berbatov told the BBC last month.

“In this stage of my career I know where I am – I would happily play for a team where they use my experience and my knowledge. I can help young players develop and make the team stronger. In the end it’s all about helping the team play.”
