Chelsea are almost sure of playing in the Champions League next season, and as expected, their Italian manager Antonio Conte is already working towards adding more strength to his squad.

The former Juventus manager is already talking to some of the targets, one of which is AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

However, it seems Manchester United got some plans too..

According to reports coming out from Italy, as this season approaches it end. the Old Trafford club have made an approach to sign the midfielder too.

The red devils are trying to add more splendid options in their midfield department, and Mourinho is exploring a potential deal for Nainggolan.

It was however added that the red devils efforts have already been halted as the Belgium international wants to stay with the Serie A club, even though it was reported last month that Roma are open to selling him at the end of this term.

The Serie A club were said to be valuing Radja at £35 million.
He was wanted by premier league leaders Chelsea last summer, and he confirmed that he held talks with Chelsea’s Italian boss about a potential move to west London.

Chelsea are still sitting at the top of the premier league table and remains favourites to lift the trophy this season with just four matches to go.

Manchester United are still working hard to finish among the top four, and are set to play Celta Vigo in the first leg of their Europa League semifinal clash on Thursday.
