Three-time European champions Manchester United are reportedly keen to match rivals Manchester City in the race to sign highly rated Benfica attacker Joao Felix this summer.

Portuguese teen sensation Joao Felix is one of the most sought-after players on the transfer market this summer.

Benfica is willing to sell him to any one of the interested as long as his €120m (£105m) release clause is met.

The release clause was raised to the above mentioned amount after he signed a new contract earlier this season.

Premier League giants Liverpool had a £61m bid rejected for the 19-year-old some weeks after he signed that new Benfica contract.

Apart from Liverpool, the Manchester clubs are also in the running for the teen attacker with the view to doing a deal for him this summer.

According to the publication from the stables of the Manchester Evening News (MEN), Manchester United are ready to match any offer made by city rivals Manchester City in their bid to sign Joao Felix.

English clubs are not the only ones interested in the player with clubs like Italian champions Juventus, German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and others also keen to splash the cash on a hugely talented Portuguese forward.
