Man United sporting director target reacts to interest

English Premier League side Man United are seeking to restructure the club and that will require a new sporting director with the search already on.

The need for a restructuring in the management of the Red Devils concerns the recruitment process and this came about after the rift between former manager Jose Mourinho and the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward over new recruits to the team.

The Portuguese boss had done some scouting and submitted a list of players that should be engaged in the last summer window as new recruits but it was not sanctioned by the chairman.

This obviously left the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss furious as he also predicted a very difficult season for his team which later came to pass.

However, in their bid to correct the system, it has been identified that a new sporting director is needed to help the team ahead of the coming summer window.

Meanwhile, a bid to land RB Leipzig head of recruitment Paul Mitchell seems not to be working as he has hinted that he would not be leaving anytime soon.

Paul Mitchell is no doubt a known figure and has been interesting a number of Premier League sides ahead of the coming season.
