Manchester United have been told Inter Milan winger, Ivan Perisic is ‘off the market’.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the Croatian star since last February when their boss, Jose Mourinho was spotted in Zagreb during the international break, sparking reports that the United boss is keen on adding the 28-year-old to his ranks.

Perisic is regarded as one of the best wingers in Europe due to his impressive displays with Inter and was believed to be interested in a move to the Old Trafford this summer after holding talks with Mourinho about a potential move.

However, United have dragged their feet on the transfer due to the reluctance of Inter to do the deal despite reports that the Italian giants will have to offload one of their top players due to the UEFA Financial Fair play regulations.

Manchester United have now been hit with a devastating blow following reports in reliable Italian outlet, Corriere dello Sport claim that Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti have opted that Perisc will not be sold this summer as he will feature in his plans next season.

Mourinho will now have to look elsewhere for reinforcement in the left wing position after getting displeased with Anthony Martial’s displays.
