Serge Aurier

Manchester United are lining up an audacious move for Paris Saint Germain defender, Serge Aurier, according to reports.

The 24-year-old has been tipped to make a move away from the Parc du Princes due to his personal troubles in the past months. There have been speculation among a host of clubs in Europe over the Ivorien’s signature.

The arrival of Brazilian full back, Dani Alves has further cast more shadow on his future with the French giants, according to L’Equipe who also states that Unai Emery has told the player that he is free to leave the club after becoming surplus to requirement.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be considering a move for a full-back despite having Matteo Darmian and Antonio Valencia in that position but there are reports that the Italian fullback wants to move to Juventus.

Reports in Calciomercato claim that United have contacted Paris Saint Germain over the possibility of signing Aurier this summer.

However, the Red Devils face competition from league rivals, Tottenham Hotspurs who are also preparing for the exit of English fullback, Kyle Walker.

It is understood that Mourinho wants to bring in the Ivorien defender as a cover for Antonio Valencia who has been a standout performer for United.
