Liverpool Swoop In To Hijack Arsenal 23-year-old Target

18-time English champions Liverpool have joined other European heavy weights such as fellow English Premier League (EPL) side Arsenal and French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in the race for the signature of highly rated German forward Julian Draxler, who plays for VFL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga.

According to The Times, Jurgen Klopp’s side have joined the race for the former Schalke 04 starlet and are watching him closely amidst all the transfer rumours circulating about Draxler, who was part of the Germany squad that reached the last four in 2016 European Championship in France.

Draxler has found life to be tough at times this season at VFL Wolfsburg after he was booed by his club fans several times for his public admission that he would like to move away from the club having just joined in the summer of 2015 in a whopping £30m deal from Schalke 04 as a direct replacement for Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne.

French champions PSG have been mooted to be his destination with widespread reports claiming a £34m deal has been agreed while he is a long term transfer target for Arsenal and Arsene Wenger however Liverpool are reportedly ready to fight both clubs having already made an enquiry concerning his availability.
