Liverpool In Talks With Italian Giants Over Left-Back Transfer

Alberto Moreno

Liverpool have began negotiations with Inter and AC Milan over a potential transfer of Alberto Moreno, according to reports.

The Spaniard has had a torrid time playing under Jurgen Klopp this season making few appearances in the Premier League as the German prefers James Milner at the left-back position.

Reports in Goal claim that Moreno could be on his way out of Anfield next summer and has already attracted interest from the two Milan clubs and could move if his £15million price tag is met.

It is understood that the interested parties have made initial contact with Liverpool regarding a potential future and will hope to lure him with the prospects of better playing chances in the Serie A.

Moreno who arrived Anfield in 2014 from La Liga side, Sevilla, has two years on his contract and will hope to leave the club in search of better first team opportunities after making just two starts this season.

However, there are suggestions that the left-back will prefer to return to the La Liga but there are no major interests from Spanish clubs.

Jurgen Klopp had earlier made it clear the club’s plan to bring in reinforcements to his current squad with the likes of Ryan Sessegnon, Sead Kolasinac and Ben Chilwell believed to be in his summer shortlist.
