Liverpool Confident On Landing Next ‘Gareth Bale’ For Bargain Transfer Fee

Liverpool are growing in confidence that they will sign Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon for a bargain £10million fee next summer, according to reports.

The left-back is being eyed by several clubs in the Premier League and has been touted as the next ‘Gareth Bale’ due to his blistering speed and composure on the flanks.

Reports in the Sun claim that the Reds have moved ahead of their league rivals in the race to sign Sessegnon next summer. Tottenham Hotspur and Everton have also been credited with an interest in the youngster who has been an impressive performer in the English Championship with Fulham.

It is understood that Klopp is considering signing two left-back to his current squad after growing weary of their defensive frailities this season. James Milner who is a natural midfielder has been deployed to the left-back position due to the inconsistent displays, Alberto Moreno who is expected to leave the club at the end of he current campaign after getting frustrated at his lack of chances at Anfield.

Sessegnon was recently named in the PFA Championship team of the season despite just being 16 years of age, and has will unable to sign a professional contract with Fulham till he turns 17 in May. The Reds are prepared to pay around £10million to entice the Championship side who might feel undone by the transfer.
