Deal Almost Done, Liverpool To Complete Summer Move For Reliable Left-back

The 23-year-old has been a key figure for the Tigers since he joined them three season ago, putting up solid displays at the full-back position through their run from the Championship to the Premier League.

There are speculations that several big clubs in England are monitoring his signature ahead of the summer transfer window.

Reports in the Daily Mail suggests that Liverpool are closing on a deal to see the Scottish full-back arrive at Anfied next summer, and are preparing a deal in the region of £8million for him.

It is understood that Jurgen Klopp is keen on bolstering his squad and the full-backs position are one of the areas the German is considering, shortlisting Robertson as one of his potential targets to fill up the position that is currently occupied by James Milner, who is naturally midfielder.

There are reports that Klopp is also looking at the chances of bringing in Real Betis ace Riza Durmisi next season but sees Robertson as a more viable option.

If the transfer deal happens, the future of Spanish left-back, Alberto Moreno could be over at Liverpool as he has been side-lined for most parts of the current campaign after falling out of favour with Jurgen Klopp who is not pleased with his inconsistent performances.
