Chelsea  centre-half Kurt Zouma has revealed that he wants to follow his team-mate Eden Hazard’s advice and go to Lille.

The player discussed his homeland of France and he has intentions of returning to Lyon where his family live as soon as his playing days are over – Lille is also on his radar with a visit planned some day.

Zouma has now returned to the first-team at Chelsea having sat out eight months last year with a knee injury.

Zouma remains part of Antonio Conte’s plans at the Stamford Bridge club though, and he is only thinking about heading to Lille for a holiday.

When asked if there is anywhere in France he would like to visit which he hasn’t been before, Zouma told the club’s official website: “Yes, I would say the city of Lille,”

“It is meant to be a very good city but I haven’t had the opportunity to go there yet.

“Eden used to play there and he’s always telling me good things about it so hopefully I will be able to go there soon.”

Eden Hazard started his professional career at Lille in France before moving to Chelsea in 2012.  And while Hazard is expected to start this Sunday when they meet Burnley, Zouma is set to feature on the bench again as Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta continuing to impress as a defensive trio.
