Despite struggling hard to stand firmly on their feet this season, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes Manchester United can get a ticket to play in next season’s Champions League by winning the Europa League.

After proceeding to the quarter finals and were drawn with Anderlecht, the Old Trafford club drew 1-1 at Belgium in the first leg of the tie last week. And right now, they stand a chance of sailing through to the next stage.

As the season approaches it end, the club are still four points behind fourth-placed Manchester City. However, the Liverpool manager thinks that irrespective of where United ends on the table this season, they will be in the Champions League next season.

The German manager is of the opinion that Jose Mourinho has a well-assembled squad and are very likely to reach the Europa League final.

THEN, IF MAN UNITED SHOULD QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE…

During the last January winter transfer window, one player heavily linked with a move to Manchester United is Atletico Madrid star player Antoine Griezmann.

However, Chelsea – who need more power in their squad for next season’s Champions League, are also said to be trying to get Griezmann’s signature.

Since making his debut for the Madrid club back then in 2014, the France international has, in 151 appearances, scored 81 times for the club.

He has being linked with a move to Manchester United at the end of the season. And though it is said that Chelsea are prepared to splash big to get him, it is more likely he will come to Manchester United due to his friend and compatriot Paul Pogba.

Some weeks back, it was reported that a major factor that could determine if he would come to United or not, is the availability of Champions League football, and if United should get the ticket, then things should fall into place.
