Super agent, Jorge Mendes has been spotting negotiating a transfer deal for AS Monaco star, Fabinho with Atletico Madrid.

The 23-year-old has been a subject of transfer interest from Manchester United and Manchester City this summer with reports that the midfielder is keen on joining the Premier League.

However, reports in reliable Spanish outlet AS claim that Mendes was spotted with Fabinho in a meeting with Atletico Madrid CEO Miguel Angel Gil Martin in what seems to be a transfer meeting.

The Spanish club are currently under a transfer ban that restricts them from registering players until the January transfer window.

It is understood that Fabinho might fancy a return to the Spanish capital, having spent a season with Real Madrid where he managed just one appearance but will have to wait till January before playing due to the transfer ban.

Manchester United were believed to be fore-runners in the deal with reports that Jose Mourinho ordered the club’s transfer chiefs to bring in Fabinho this summer as he looks to reinforce his side ahead of next season.

Fabinho was a right-back before being converted to a midfielder by Monaco boss, Jardim last season as they won the Ligue 1 and got to the latter stages of the Champions League.
