Despite finding a way into the Europa League semifinals this week, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is not currently the most happiest manager right now.

The reason is not far fetched as his players are getting lost to injury! and in the Europa League game on Thursday, he lost two important members in his squad to injury: The duo of Rojo and Ibrahimovic.

While Marcos was injured in the first half at the win against Anderlecht at Old Trafford, the former Barcelona striker Zlatan landed awkwardly on his right knee after a second half aerial challenge and will now see a knee specialist.

While fans are awaiting an update on the duo injuries, here is something to chew on.

The club have officially confirmed that the Swede legend and the Argentine defender have suffered knee ligament damage.

Even though there is yet to be an official time for the duo to come back from injury, it very likely that they won’t be available for the remainder of this season, But they stated officially that estimations of time to full recovery of the duo will only be possible when definitive treatment plans have been decided after consultations.

Manchester United have proceeded into the semifinal of the Europa League for the first time, and with clubs like Lyon still contending for the cup, Mourinho needs his best legs available.

It is not yet sure if they can finish at the top four of the premier league, but they now have the opportunity to get a Champions League ticket for next season if they can win the Europa Cup.
