The international break will soon be over and we shall once again turn our focus to action in the premier league. A lot of managers will be worried over the fitness of their players as some of them have had to deal with injuries while playing for their country.

Ahead of the big clash between Manchester United and Arsenal, manager of Arsenal Arsene Wenger will be hoping his players will be fit for the match. Apart from Alexis Sanchez another player Wenger will be worried about is Hector Bellerin. The Spanish youngster has been a major player for Arsenal and if he will be out of action for some time it will be a major blow for the gunners.

It is difficult to see a young player reach the heights Bellerin has in such a short time. While it may be a surprise to many, Andres Carrasco who signed him for Barcelona when he was eight years old and was his coach till he was fifteen years old is not surprised at all.

Speaking to Sky Sports he said

“It’s always difficult to know which players will make it, but if I’d had to bet on one, it would have been him. Mentally, he was very strong. That is a very important aspect for a young player. The psychological aspect is crucial. Hector was a boy who seemed 20 when he was 15.”

His manager Arsene Wenger also agrees that Bellerin is very important to the club and was happy to extend his contract at the Emirates recently, fending off interest from his boyhood club Barcelona and Premiership rivals Manchester City.

It is hoped Bellerin will recover in time for the match against Manchester United as his absence will be a blow for the gunners.
