I can help United win trophies, football legend in shock bid for Solskjaer’s job

The job of English Premier League outfit Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now under threat as football legend Diego Maradona has thrown his hat into the ring to manage the club.

Man United have not advertised any vacancy for a manager but the former Argentine International is trying to take advantage of their inability to win a title last season.

Diego Maradona took a swipe at Man United for not winning trophies. He noted that they are now known for selling shirts around the world and he is ready to change the narrative if given the job.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over the job as Man United interim boss in December last year after former manager Jose Mourinho was sacked by the club.

The former Red Devils forward recorded a flying start of his reign at the Old Trafford but that didn’t last as soon as he was given the job on a permanent deal.

In addition to the fact that United failed to win a title in the just-concluded season, they have also missed out of the top four which implies that they will not be playing in the UEFA Champions League in the coming season.
