How Guendouzi could help Arsenal meet transfer target

The North London outfit Arsenal have got a target for the summer transfer window to secure quality additions that would be able to add value to the team and also cost less.

However, French Ligue 2 outfit Lorient star Alexis Claude-Maurice has been identified by the Gunners boss Unai Emery to fall within the scope of what is needed at the Emirates Stadium.

It has therefore been suggested that the wish by the Gunners team to land Alexis Claude-Maurice could happen with the influence of Matteo Guendouzi who also left the club about a year ago.

With Danny Welbeck set to leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season, the Gunners boss have identified Alexis Claude-Maurice as a better replacement for him and what is most important is the fact that he would cost just £9 million.

The Gunners are obviously not financially capable of competing for big players which is the reason why they are keen on Alexis Claude-Maurice as Unai Emery has already been told that he will only have a budget of £40 million to compete in the summer window.

Matteo Guendouzi is known to be a good friend to Alexis Claude-Maurice and it is suggested that both have been talking about the club which could convince the attacking player to give his nod for a move.
