Guess who the book markers want at Chelsea..
Maurizio Sarri’s chase of Borussia Dortmund star Christ Pulisic would not just leave the news as the Blues have once again gotten a boost in their chase of the Bundesliga star.
According to bookmakers, Chelsea are ahead of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona in the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund star who many regards as a perfect replacement for misfiring strikers Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata.
The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for the United States international, who has impressed with Dortmund this season and attracted attention from some of the top clubs in Europe.
Chelsea are not the only team who are reportedly interested in signing the American, with the Blues’ Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester City also among the clubs understood to be keeping an eye on Pulisic.
In that light, several bookmakers have made Chelsea the favourites to sign the American, should he leave the Westfalenstadion in January with the odds favouring a switch to Stamford Bridge ahead of all other prospective buyers.
The player who is priced at €60 million is the youngest non-German and fourth-youngest player to score a goal in the Bundesliga, which he did at just 17 years and 212 days old. He also has another Bundesliga scoring record by becoming the youngest player to score two goals in the top flight league.
