Having come through the youth ranks to being a first team player and fan favorite at Santiago Banerbeu, many would have thought that Madrid would hold on to its Academy product but just like Morata – another promising youngster from the youth ranks- Jese was chipped out overseas just as the former was returning to the club after a successful stint at Juventus which saw him score both at home and away against his former -now present- employers.

Jese on the other hand moved to France but the 23-year-old had so far endured hard trying to times at Paris-Saint-Germain following fitness and injury problems.

The former Real Madrid attacker is on Liverpool transfer shortlist and the words of his manager would be good reassuring news to the ears of Liverpool’s boss Jurgen Klopp who is looking to bolster his team strength in-depth during the transfer window.

“Nothing has been decided, mainly because there is still several weeks until the end of winter market,” Ufarte told Canarias 7.

“What is certain is that Jese sees his future away from PSG.

“He expects to choose the best among the proposals received and in the meantime he trains every day to be physically fit when he returns to playing.

“He has ambition, wants to keep growing. I speak a lot with him, he knows that we will work to find the best alternative for his career.”
