According to Italian media reports, Serie A champions Juventus are trying to beat Chelsea and Arsenal in the transfer race to land Aleksandr Golovin from Russian side CSKA Moscow this summer window.
Juventus set to battle London duo
Italian publication Tuttosport, as cited by the Daily Express, is claiming that the Serie A side are closely monitoring both Chelsea and Arsenal’s interest in the midfield maestro, who has been in brilliant form for his nation at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia.
As per the same article, the Turin giants are one of the suitors leading the race to try and land Golovin this summer window and they have been heavily linked with a transfer to sign him for weeks.
Now, the same report is suggesting that Juventus are keen to try and beat Chelsea and Arsenal to the signature of the 22-year-old attacker this summer window.
Serie A side lead race
The report suggests that he is now Juventus’ top transfer target in the summer window as they look to reinforce their team ahead of next campaign.
The article says that the Russian side have already turned down a £15.8m offer from an unnamed football side for the World cup star this summer window and that the Old Lady are preparing to submit a fresh bid to try and land the Russian.
