Former Arsenal captain Thierry Henry has heaped lots of praise on Antonio Conte for having faith in David Luiz at Chelsea this season.

The Samba defender has earned lots of praise for his performances for the Stamford Bridge club since returning from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

He has been a regular fixture in the Chelsea team this season and has been one of the key players in their 3-4-3 formation.

The talented defender will be expecting to feature for his side when they host local rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal legend Henry has heaped praise on Chelsea boss Conte for showing the insight to bring Luiz back to Chelsea in the summer and then successfully integrate him into his team.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, Henry attested that Antonio Conte deserves being given Kudos due to his superb tactics.

“Basically putting the man in the middle, and this is not the guy that needs to step out. Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta go and he has to stay there, so he knows even more so than before that he cannot make a mistake.

“Yes he made mistakes when he arrived in the Premier League, but he did well at Paris Saint-Germain, then you look at what he won.”

The Blues head into the showdown with Arsenal nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
