German Club Keen On United Misfit Rojo

German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly interested in Manchester United’s Argentine left back Marcos Rojo.

Rojo has had a rocky time at Old Trafford since he made a £16m move from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon despite his versatility as he can play at both left back and centre back.

The 26-year old recently made his way back into the Manchester United team under manager Jose Mourinho as a result of injuries.

It remains to be seen if the Red Devils would be willing to let go of the player unless UEFA Champions League (UCL) campaigners Bayer Leverkusen are ready to pay a big sum for his services with Manchester United interested in recouping all or the majority of the transfer fee spent to pay for his services.

Marcos Rojo, who is the first choice left back for Argentina, could have left the 18-time English champions during the summer transfer window but any transfer move didn’t eventually materialise for the former Sporting Lisbon left back. He didn’t let that disturb him at all as he has battled back to feature regularly for his team though whether his present spot in the team will be for the long-term is another matter for another day.
