Italian tactician Sarri became the Chelsea manager last summer after leaving Serie A giants Napoli.

He started his Chelsea career well until he suffered his first league defeat at Tottenham Hotspur in November.

Chelsea and Sarri endured an inconsistent run from that Spurs game till date thereby putting the manager’s job at risk.

Despite the average run of results during the winter part of the season till this summer, Maurizio Sarri has been able to lead Chelsea to two finals as well as third place oin the Premier League table.

The Italian tactician led the Blues to the Carabao Cup final before they were beaten by holders Manchester City who retained their title with the help of penalties after both sides had played goalless at the end of both regulation time and extra time.

Sarri and Chelsea will face London rivals Arsenal in the Europa League final next week.
