Arsenal fans desperately want manager Arsene Wenger to sign Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez after Monaco turned down Arsenal’s latest offer for Thomas Lemar.

The Gunners have reportedly had a third offer for Lemar turned down by Monaco, and Arsenal supporters are now losing patience.

Monaco rejected the £44.7m bid, and many supporters feel it is time to give up the pursuit and move on to another transfer target.

Algerian and Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez has long been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, and Arsenal fans are keen to see their darling club sign the Algerian instead of ‘hard to get’ Lemar.

The African reportedly handed in a transfer request back in May but, as of yet, has been unable to secure a transfer away from the Kings Power Stadium.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are searching for wingers with the future of Star forward Alexis Sanchez up in the air.

The Chilean is growing increasingly likely to leave the North London club given his contract expires at the end of next summer and he is yet to renew his contract.

According to Express Sport, he will return to training next week but with top European clubs like Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain interested in signing him, it could end up being a fleeting visit.
