Erkut Sogut confirms expectation on star future
Following his words that he will not be leaving the Emirate Stadium in this winter transfer window, Mesut Ozil’s agent Dr. Erkut Sogut has come out to lay emphasis on what the future holds.
Lots of speculations have been spread on the future of the German international midfielder following is alleged fallout with manager Unai Emery.
The former Real Madrid star has been inconsistent in his performance under the Spanish boss which forces him to reduce his playing time especially when it is time for big games.
The former PSG boss has defended his decision by stating that the reasons why he has always limited Mesut Ozil to the bench are just for tactical reasons and nothing more.
Although, when responding to questions from newsmen, Unai Emery made it clear that he does not care about the big wage but noted that he is more concerned about the performance on the pitch.
However, Ozil’s agent has made it clear that there is a need to react publicly on the speculations concerning his client’s future, stressing that he wants to stay to see out his contract with the North London.
The agent, therefore, hinted that his client could be unsettled with the speculations which forced him to make a public claim.
