Eric Cantona takes a dig at United owners
Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has got the club owners the Glazers to blame for the worrisome situation at the Old Trafford.
United have continued to struggle since the start of the season, losing three Premier League games this season which has placed tem far behind in the league table.
More so, the Red Devils have been eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Championship side Derby County in addition to the recent 1-0 defeat they suffered to Juventus in the Champions League.
Cantona is one of the legends of the club who is not scared to blast the owners as he unwittingly described them as being clueless about football.
Citing Real Madrid as an example, the legend stated that the Spanish side were able to hand Zinedine Zidane a role as the club’s manager despite not having an experience on the job.
According to him, the Glazers owners will not consider players for the job but will give the jobs to those who will not be able to deliver success.
Cantona is unhappy with United manager Jose Mourinho as he stated that the Portuguese man is gradually ruining the reputation of the club that has been built for many years.
He laments that United have now become unattractive as new generation players now look up to the other side of Manchester for inspiration.
