CRY VS BUR

CRYSTAL PALACE VS BURNLEY

Both teams will be heading into this fixture at selhurst park home ground of crystal palace with two very important first team players missing the tie.

For the home team its Mamadou Sakho the big strong center back on-loan from parent club Liverpool FC that misses out due to a knee injury he sustained against Totteham. An injury that made crystal palace manager suggest it might lead to the end of Sakho’s loan spell at crystal palace. Crystal palace have possible replacements in martin kelly.

Fellow center backs James Tomkins out with (leg) injury and Scot Dann knee injury are doubts for the fixture.

Joey Barton 35 begins the first match of his 18 months ban due to gambling related issues bringing the beautiful game into disrepute. the ban has made the veteran who has plied his trade in both England for Manchester city, Newcastle, Queens Park Rangers, Burnley (two spells), Scotland for Rangers Football club and in France for Marseille on loan from Qpr, call quits on his career. This means manager Sean Dyche will need to juggle his starting line-up.

Burnley has had one of the best home forms of all the premier league teams this season winning 10 of their 17 home fixtures at home this season. as a matter of fact 32 of Burnley’s 36 points this season has been at home, its their away form that has been worrisome with Burnley not winning a single fixture away from home this season.

Its all to play for as the two teams lie in 15th and 16th place respectively on the EPL table. with neither team reaching the glorified 40 points mark.
