Keylor Navas

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has reacted to speculations linking Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas to the Emirates Stadium.

Reports over the past weeks have linked the goalkeeper with a switch to the Gunners in this January transfer window but that could not be on the card anymore with the claim by the Spanish boss, dismissing the speculation.

Also, it was claimed that the Real Madrid goalkeeper is unhappy at the Bernabeu having been relegated to the bench with the coming of Thibaut Courtois from English Premier League side Chelsea.

Recall that Spanish newspaper alleged that the North London side were ready to offer Navas a deal to have him create the competition in the Gunners team with former Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno seeming to be committing some blunders in recent games.

However, Gunners boss is in his reaction to the speculations said there was never anything like that.

Unai Emery made it clear that the club is happy with the three goalkeepers and never spoken about Keylor Navas for the winter transfer window.

Meanwhile, Emery has made it clear that former Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper remains his first choice and nothing has changed it yet.

The Gunners are sweating with the inconsistency of recent especially after suffering a 5-1 defeat to league leaders Liverpool in the Premier League encounter.
