Chelsea top performer this season Diego Costa and goal stopper Thibaut Courtois are set to be offered a lucrative deal amidst reports that Atletico Madrid are monitoring their situation at Chelsea.
According to report from The Telegraph, both former Madrid player were convinced by new boss Antonio Conte to commit their long-term futures to the club, after rumours had linked them away from Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Goal poacher Costa has been on scintillating form this season and his goals had helped the Blue to remain at the top of the EPL table. He is currently the top scorer in the EPL with 10 goals.
Shot stopper Courtois has not really had much ball to save in recent weeks since Conte switched to his preferred 3-4-3 formation. The Belgian has enjoyed six consecutive clean sheets.
The young Belgian goalie, who is currently receiving £100,000-a-week, is expected to be handed a new deal worth £150,000-a-week, while Costa is expected to get a £50,000-a-week rise to £200,000-a-week.
Both are contracted until 2019,but talks are set to open in January where they will both be handed a substantial pay rise.
The Blues will return back to action this weekend to face London rival Tottenham Hotspurs and Diego Costa will be expected to play in the starting eleven.
