Deal Agreed: Steve Holland To Leave Chelsea In Summer

As January transfer window looms closer, various reports linking players and managers to clubs have all started, and latest of such report is that linking Chelsea assistant manager Steve Holland to England managerial job.

According to reports, Holland has agreed a deal with English FA to become part of Gareth Southgate managerial team in his new role as England manager.

Daily Mail claimed that the England interim manager wants Holland to be his assistant when he is confirmed as England manager next week.

Both tactician have formed a good partnership having worked with the England under-21 team since 2013

Report had it that the Blues were initially reluctant to let their Star man leave following his key relationship with the Blues squad.

A deal has however been reached by both parties with Holland remaining as Chelsea boss and Southgate assistant before taking up a full-time position with England at the end of the season.

The 46-year old tactician moved to Chelsea in 2009 as a reserve team manager, having held a coaching career at Crewe and Stoke City.

Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, the England man had worked under Andre Villa-Boas, Roberto Di Matteo, Rafa Benitez , Jose Mourinho, Guus Hiddink and currently Antonio Conte.

The tactician has also helped the Blues win major trophies such as UEFA champion League, Uefa Europa League, FA Cup, Premier League and League Cup.
