The Spanish manager had praised the former Manchester United player and hinted on giving him more opportunity in subsequent games.

However, Welbeck who was responding to questions from journalists said he is only focused on improving and helping Arsenal win more games other than thinking about his next call-up for national team assignment.

He said he will not dictate to Gareth Southgate on who to pick and he will not have a sleepless night over that.

Welbeck is expected to more playing time under the Spanish manager, Unai Emery as he struggles to beat off competition from Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Both strikers have been given the nod ahead of the English player to lead the Arsenal strike force this season.
