Man United might confirm their first summer transfer signing sooner than expected following reports that their main target and Swansea star Daniel James would be having his medicals today.

Reports according to The Sun claims that Daniel James has been excused from the Wales national team camp to go ahead with his dream move.

The star player was impressive with Swansea City this season which attracts a number of English Premier League outfits for his signature.

It is claimed that the Wales international will finalize the move for the sum of £15 million to become the first permanent signing by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since he took over at the Old Trafford in December last year.

Daniel James will now be the first to begin the rebuilding process that has been insisted upon by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Red Devils boss will have about £100 million transfer kitty to engage in the summer transfer window but he is expected to part ways with a number of players at the club after complaining of their commitment.

Paul Pogba is reportedly pushing for a move away from the club while Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Ander Herrera are all confirmed to be on their way out.
