Chelsea Star Target Opens Door For Potential Premier League Transfer

Dani Alves enjoyed a fabulous campaign at Juventus last season, making Barcelona wished they never let him leave in the first place.

He has emerged as a target for Chelsea this summer as Antonio Conte is said to be plotting a move for him. And the Samba star has hinted he could make a sensational transfer to the English top flight this summer.

He was discarded by Barcelona last summer after being deemed surplus to requirements and he moved to Turin on a free transfer.

Surprisingly, the 34-year-old veteran was able to adapt adequately to life in Serie A, helping Max Allegri’s side win the Italian league and cup.

Although he still has 12 months to run on his current deal at Juventus, the former Barcelona player, when asked if he could leave Juve at the end of the term, is giving the hint a move could occur.

He revealed he turned down a handful of offers from premier league clubs last year because he desires a move to Italy. He, however, admits his hopes of playing in the English top-flight some day.

When he was asked if the move could happen soon, his reply was: Who knows? We’ll see.’

Antonio Conte is keen on bolstering his squad ahead of a busy campaign next season.
