Conte To Chelsea Star: You Can Leave Now, I’ve Found A Replacement For You

According to reports, Kurt Zouma has been given green lights to leave Chelsea on loan this summer after the arrival of former AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger.

Chelsea confirmed the arrival of Rudiger in a £34million deal and the Germany international is expected to command a first team spot in Antonio Conte’s squad next season.

On the other hand, French youngster Kurt Zouma returned from a long-term injury last season and was able to make just 11 appearances for Chelsea as they successfully won the premier league title in Antonio Conte’s first season at the club.

However, Zouma remains a highly-rated player at Chelsea, but is obviously in need of first-team game time to prove his worth once more.

And since Chelsea have brought in 24-year-old Rudiger this summer, it means the possibility of Zouma getting regular playing time next season is not certain.

And so, the Evening Standard are reporting that Conte has told the young defender he is free to move elsewhere on loan.

There were reports from the Sun that as many as 20 clubs across Europe are in the hunt for the Frenchman’s signature, including Inter Milan, Nice, Stoke City, and Valencia. However, it was added that Tony Pulis’ West Brom are at the forefront to get him and are confident of bringing him anytime soon.
