Contact made with Philippe Coutinho’s agent
Manchester United have made official contact with the agent of the Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona player Philippe Coutinho in a bid to land him this winter transfer window.
Philippe Coutinho has been a subject of speculations with reports claiming that he is set to leave the Cam Nuo over the lack of playing time.
He was first linked with a move to West London side Chelsea but the Red Devils seem to have hijacked the bid as they have gone ahead to establish contact for talks with the agent.
A report had claimed that Barcelona were ready to let Philippe Coutinho leave but to the Stamford Bridge as a bait to land Belgium international Eden Hazard ahead of rivals Real Madrid.
However, the Reds are keen to ensure the signature of the star player as they are keen to land world class players in the team have learnt of his availability and know he has got the knowledge and experience of the English League with Liverpool.
Meanwhile, the only hindrance to the deal is the suggestions that the Brazilian international star might not fancy a move to United just one year after leaving England.
Recall that Philippe Coutinho had a $182 million move to Barcelona last year from Liverpool.
