Chelsea will host another football club, BATE Borisov at Stamford Bridge after hosting Man United in the English premier league at the weekend.

Tonight’s match against BATE will be the Blues third game in the Uefa Europa League having kept a clean sheet in their last two games.

However, ahead of tonight’s game, BATE Borisov player, Alexander Hleb has sent a heartwarming message to his former teammate, Cesc Fabregas.

The duo of Hleb and Fabregas played at North London club, Arsenal between 2005 and 2008.

During their stay at the Emirate stadium, they failed to win a trophy as they lost in the Champions League and League cup finals.

However, Cesc Fabregas after leaving Arsenal moved to Barcelona where he lifted the La Liga trophy, Copa del Ray, the FIFA Club World Cup before moving to Chelsea where he has lifted two Premier League trophy and one FA Cup.

On the other hand, Alexander Hleb after leaving Arsenal played at Barcelona (he won a single La Liga trophy) before moving to BATE Borisov.

However, Hleb is hoping for a reunion tonight with Fabregas when they meet.

Hleb in a statement quoted by Daily Telegraph hinted that it will be nice to see Fabregas again.

He said: ”We’ve been messaging each other. When I see him, I will … [makes a mock punching gesture] no, I’m joking.”
