According to new reports coming from Belgium, Chelsea star player Eden Hazard has reached an agreement with La Liga giants Real Madrid to join the club this summer.

The Belgian news outlet ‘Sports / Football Magazine’ reveals that during the last year’s November international break, Eden Hazard held talks with one of Real Madrid top chiefs in Brussels.

He is said to held a secret talk with the club’s director general Jose Angel Sanchez, who told the Chelsea forward that the Spanish club are regarding him as the perfect successor to world best player Cristiano Ronaldo on the left flank.

It was also added that his potential salary at the club was also discussed.

Few weeks ago, it was reported in Spain that Real Madrid French boss Zinedine Zidane told the club president Florentino Perez to make the signing of the Belgium international their top priority this fast approaching summer transfer window, and Perez sworn to do all he could to make Hazard come over to the Spanish capital.

The Belgian outlet also added that Eden has once told a close friend some years ago that his plan is to win the premier league title with the blues and to be voted as the best player of the Premier League, before going to Madrid in Spain to win the Golden Ball, and then end his career at Ligue I side PSG.

He currently earn £200,000 each week at Chelsea and the deal is meant to expire in 2020.

Even though there are speculations that the Chelsea management are trying hard to keep him at Stamford Bridge by making him the highest paid player in the English top flight, the Belgian confirms that a new deal with his current club have been postponed until the end of the term.
