Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a transfer move for German sensation Jann-Fiete Arp.
Arp who currently plays with Hamburg, is regarded as one of the most promising talents in Germany but has not been given a deal at the club which has sparked speculations about his future.
Reports in the Evening Standard suggests that the Blues are ready to pounce on the youngster who could be available on a free transfer but with fierce competition from Wolfsburg and Leipzig who are also monitoring the transfer situation.
Arp has been impressive at the youth levels for Germany. Although, Chelsea have been criticised for their inability to offer youngster opportunities in their squad but Antonio Conte has shown glances of promoting youths after recalling defender Nathan Ake from his loan spell at Bournemouth and it is understood that the former Juventus boss is keen on bringing in more reinforcements in the January transfer window despite being at the top of the table in the Premier League.
When asked about the window, Conte admitted: ‘There are some positions that, if we are able to find a resolution, it’s important to take a good solution.
‘It wont be easy but, for sure, we are talking about this.’
