Chelsea are reportedly lining up a mega deal for Real Madrid superstar, Gareth Bale.

Reports in Don Balon have it that Premier League duo of Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on signing the Welsh star and will break the bank to bring to England in another world record deal said to be around €200 million next summer.

Bale left Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 for a world record that is believed to be around €100 million and has gone on to impress at the Santiago Bernabeu, forming a formidable partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, a move back to the Premier League could be in the offing for the 27-year-old if rumours are anything to go by. Chelsea are doing fine in the league so far and might look to sign a big name if they eventually lift the Premier League trophy.

Blues boss Antonio Conte had earlier hinted his side will add right players to their current squad despite their impressive performance so far in the current campaign..

He said: “[We are] not close, no. But we have some ideas [about signings] about this. We are working around these ideas and then we’ll try to take this idea.

“I’m not sure [if we will sign someone]. In January it’s always difficult to buy great players, class signings.

“It’s very difficult to buy important players because the other teams don’t want to sell.

“For this reason it’s important to find the right solution if there are the right solutions. To find the right player to help us improve. To buy just to buy? I don’t like.”

Bale has helped Real Madrid to 7 goals and four assists in the current La Liga season.
