Chelsea and Manchester City have seen an opportunity to sign the defender after the burst-up, casting doubt over his future at the club.

In the January transfer, the Blues lined up a bid for Bonucci, Chelsea’s recent form and their position in the Premier League table could convince him to join Chelsea and also link him up with his former boss Antonio Conte.

But last year, he admitted he was keen to working with Guardiola and the burst-up could now tempt him to fulfill that promise.

The Italian International is valued around £60million and his contract at Juventus will expire by June 2021.
