Champions League Final: Liverpool To Make Decision On Transfer Targets After Spurs Clash

Five-time European champions Liverpool will make a decision on their transfer targets after the Champions League final according to the report from the stables of the Daily Star.

The Reds will face Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final billed for the new Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid and it was revealed that Liverpool will make a decision on the transfer target duo of Timo Werner and Nicolas Pepe.

Both Werner and Pepe have been linked with a move to Liverpool ahead of the new season scheduled to start during the second week of August.

Timo Werner plays his club football for German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig at the moment and he has one year left on his contract at the Champions League campaigners.

RB Leipzig will have to make a decision this summer on whether they want to sell the petite player or risk losing him for free next summer when his contract expires.

Other clubs like Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have also been linked with Timo Werner.

Ivorian international star Pepe plays his club football for French Ligue 1 giants Lille at the moment and he has been attracting the interest of several clubs on the European football stage including Liverpool.
