Liverpool are believed to be strong suitors for French side Lyon’s creative player Houssem Aouar after he had an excellent performance for his French side in their Champions League clash against Manchester City on Wednesday night.
Although, Houssem Aouar has been previously linked with a number of clubs in the past but that has increased with his Champions League night performance as the battle for his signature gets tougher.
Liverpool were believed to be in pole position to secure the service of the 20-year-old having already shown interest in the summer window which did not work through.
With an interest being re-ignited again, the Reds will face competition from the North London club Arsenal for the player with both clubs now ahead of Chelsea and Manchester City.
However, French outlet L’Equipe reports that all the suitors will find it difficult to have the signature of the Lyon star with the French outfit not ready to part ways with Houssem Aouar at the moment.
Houssem Aouar is believed to be one of the most talented and young players in the French League in addition to the huge potential of greatness in him which has caught the attention of big European sides.
