Arsenal have this advantage for Europa League qualification

Alexandre Lacazette

The North London outfit Arsenal lost their first leg of the Europa League tie by 3-1 to French Ligue 1 outfit Rennes and they will be hoping to turn the table around when they welcome the French side to the Emirates Stadium later this week.

The bid to do this has been made easy with the Gunners team set to have French striker Alexandre Lacazette back from his suspension ahead of the game on Thursday night.

The former Lyon striker was sent out in Arsenal’s game against BATE Borisov and was meant to miss out of the round of 16 but the ban has been cut short from three games to two which makes him available for Thursday’s game.

A glimpse of what Alexandre Lacazette can do and the threat he possesses was seen against Man United at last weekend in the English Premier League clash where he gave the Red Devils’ defense a good fight.

However, the North London outfit have their appeal considered and will now have a more robust team that needs a convincing win of 2-0 upwards to be able to qualify.

A win for Arsenal will brighten their chances of a title win this season as they will head straight to the quarterfinals.
