It will not be a surprise if Arsenal under Unai Emery records another defeat in their Premier League clash against Fulham on Sunday.

This is after it has been revealed by club officials that the team will not have any meaningful rest before the game after their Thursday’s trip to Azerbaijan.

The Gunners will return face Qarabag in Baku on Thursday evening and will immediately be on the flight back to London for 6 hours, to land at the Luton Airport around 4 a.m. BST on Friday, in order to get ready for noon Premier League Kickoff on Sunday.

The stress of the journey is feared to affect the players knowing that key players would be used to executive the Europa League game because of the Gunners’ chances in the competition.

Arsenal Manager, Unai Emery only has Henrikh Mkhitaryan as the only player who would be in good shape after he opted to stay back home due to security issues as a result of the political tension between Azerbaijan and his native Armenia.

Emery will hope the Europa game is less difficult so as to lessen stress on his players knowing that his side will be playing away from home which will be little more difficult.
