Arsenal largest shareholder, Stan Kroenke has called Hector Bellerin to inform him that the club will not be selling him this summer, according to reports.

The 22-year-old has been tipped to make a stunning return to Barcelona this summer, following talks with the former club.

Bellerin who rose through the ranks at Arsenal after his move as an academy graduate at the famous La Masia academy has become a shock transfer target for Barca.

But prior reports have it that Arsenal are reluctant to allow Bellerin leave this summer, despite speculations that the player wants to the move and has even bought a house in Barcelona.

Reports in Cadena SER claim that Kroenke has told Bellerin during a personal phone call that the club will not be selling him this summer.

Barcelona were believed to be keen on landing the right-back in order to solve their crisis in the position after finding it difficult to find a replacement for Dani Alves who left the club as a free agent in 2015.

Despite the exit rumours, Arsenal are confident of keeping Bellerin beyond this summer due to the fact that the Spaniard only signed a new contract last December which ties him to the club till 2023.
