Antonio Conte: I Want These Players In My Squad ASAP

It is quite glaring that Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has invested in star talent since his arrival at Stamford Bridge last year’s summer.

The Italian boss has splashed the cash on the likes of David Luiz, N’Golo Kante and Marcos Alonso after taking charge at the club.

Nevertheless, the former Juventus manager has the intention to hand over his chequebook and give Chelsea’s kids a chance.

He wants Chelsea Academy Stars Like Nathaniel Chalobah In His Squad

Conte confessed that he hope to absorb many players from Chelsea’s academy in the future and attested that the Academy is doing a really great job.

“In my squad we have a lot of young players from the Academy – Chalobah, Ake, Ruben, Aina – and it’s important to have a link between the first team and Academy.

“These young players have stayed with me because they deserve it, not because I want to give them a gift.

“In the future I hope to absorb many players from the Academy.” he said

The boss could hand starts to several Blues youngsters tomorrow.

As Chelsea meet with Championship strugglers Wolves in their next FA Cup match, players like Ola Aina, Nathaniel Chalobah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek could all feature in the game.
