Chelsea sacked Antonio Conte as their coach last season after the Blues failed to make it to the top four on the EPL table thus ending their dream of participating in the Uefa Champions League this season.

The Blues had gone ahead to sign Conte’s fellow countryman, Maurizio Sarri from the Italian club, Napoli.

Ever since Antonio Conte was sacked by the Blues board, he has been without a job, however, a new report have made it known that Spanish club, Real Madrid have reached out to him to become their next coach.

The report added that the 49-year-old Italian has agreed to the offer.

Since the unexpected departure of Zinedine Zidane as Real Madrid coach, the Los Blancos have been struggling to perform under Julen Lopetegui – who could be sent packing by January if things don’t improve at the Spanish club.

Irrespective of Antonio Conte’s fall out with Chelsea, the 49-year-old Italy International so far has enjoyed a successful coaching career with records to show for it.

Conte, while at the Italian club, Juventus led the club to back to back victory in the Seria A.

On his arrival at Stamford Bridge, Antonio Conte lifted the EPL league and won the FA cup last season.
