Antonio Conte Determined To Sign La Liga Striker Before Transfer Window Closes

Alvaro Morata

After El Confidencial published an article saying Real Madrid Star player Alvaro Morata is becoming increasingly frustrated at the Spanish club, Marca have as well done the same.

The reports are similar. Morata doesn’t feel he is an important player in Zinedine Zidane’s team. And since he is not seeing that situation changing in the near future, then he is considering an exit.

Marca however mentioned only Chelsea as the only interested club in him and claimed further that coach Antonio Conte is determined to sign the striker. Interestingly, it was included that the blues boss would even prefer a deal to be done now rather than wait until the summer transfer window.

Obviously, Real Madrid are not keen for that and the La Liga club want Morata to remain at least until the summer. The Stamford Bridge club are repeatedly linked to the classic striker and Morata himself helped reports by confirming a bid from the Premier League club. Even though other PL teams like Arsenal are also linked with Morata, but it is Chelsea that seem to be the most interested once again.

One good proof that Conte will go at length to get him is because the future of Diego Costa is not yet obvious and even when he was at Juventus, he had a wider selection of strikers.
