Legend: This United Player Is Not Good, He Won’t Be At Man United In Two Years

Anthony Martial

Eamon Dunphy believes Anthony Martial isn’t good enough for Manchester United.

This season, Martial has struggled to find his best form under new boss Jose Mourinho despite enjoying a successful first season at the Old Trafford club.

United bought the France international in a £36m deal which could rise to £53m from Ligue 1 side Monaco in the 2015 summer transfer window when Louis van Gaal was still in charge.

In his first campaign at Manchester United, Martial scored 11 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions. We are not forgetting that he scored a goal on his debut in a 3-1 win against Liverpool.

However, this season so far, he has been only able to score three times and has made just two assists in 13 appearances in the Premier League.

However, former Manchester United midfielder and current pundit Dunphy, speaking to an Irish radio station RTE 2fm, insisted that Martial isn’t good enough to play for the Red Devils.

“His [Martial’s] transfer fee from Monaco was £36m which could rise to £53m including add-ons. Add-ons are him scoring [a] goal or making an appearance. He won’t be at Manchester United in a year or two time. He is just no good.” he bluntly said.

Manchester United drew 1-1 with rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
