Denmark are currently ranked 48 by FIFA in world football ranking. But they now have a great generation of young talent players, if managed properly, can put an end to their recent poor qualification record of the tournaments.

Right now in the Denmark team, the two players recognized as the most important in the squad are Christian Eriksen and Andreas Christensen. Eriksen plays for Tottenham Hotspur while Christensen plays for Chelsea, is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.

Both of them have been impressive for their country in recent times and are helping their other teammates build up the required confidence to win games.

Some months ago, Spurs star Eriksen has been criticized in Denmark for not displaying is brilliant performances which he does at his club side. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old is now taking responsibility for his country, and things appears better now.

Andreas Christensen on the other hand is expected to return back to Chelsea in the summer when his loan ends at the German club. Popular Danish newspaper BT, stated that Chelsea will be waiting with ‘open arms’ for him – which shows how important he has become.

Christensen who plays in the central defense role, has gained valuable experience while on loan from Chelsea at the German club. He has more than 50 Bundesliga appearances for Borussia Monchengladbach and the club will like him to stay.

Even if Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will allow the player stay at Gladbach, the Italian boss would sure want to see what the 20-year-old can do during pre-season.
